Melanotan and Melanotan II are both analogs of the peptide hormone alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that induce skin tanning. Unlike melanotan though, melanotan II has the additional effect of increasing libido. Melanotan II has aphrodisiac properties.
